We are alive but sorting…

My hope to communicate our future plans hit a snag with Easter and finalizing some things so I’ve delayed it a bit. Sorry. It is good news and we will still be in Glasgow and working with Mosaic. I just have some details that need worked through and spending time with family has also taken priority. We are all healthy, looking forward to the kids upcoming 2 week school break, and having a more restful weekend after a busy Easter.

Today brightened my day on the details (1 item resolved, 1 remains) and then on the family from Harrison passed me a note while I was on the phone: “Dad, red car with the tags TV1 XXX (or close to that) is on the pavement.” I went to inspect and find him standing next to a car on the pavement 100metres up the street. Evidently it had just been repaired and dropped off – without the hand brake on or in gear. It rolled back jumped the pavement and went into an iron railing. When we went out and called the police, a neighbour who knows the owner came out saying he was in touch with the owner. The neighbour is a local comedian and then all the other cast from the show he is on (Still Game) came along; the car owner is in the show evidently. I suggested we snap a picture and tease the owner. Perhaps send it into the newspaper? Here is the mock photo of what the car did to my son – it really didn’t hit him remember (but it could have hit someone as it rolled a good 50+metres. As we left a crowd gathered and started snapping photos so we scooted.
