I am back home again after a 2 week trip to the USA. I had to go for franchise meetings so I tacked on time to see my family, even visiting my sister, her husband and her new born daughter. It was a great time to see family but also sad as I recognized as my grandparents age further (one is 88 the other soon to be 97 years old), I am not likely to see them again. This reminded me how important it is to tell people you love them – looking them in the eye and saying it with all the meaning I could.
As I said goodbye ['I love you Grandma'] to my Grandma Lange (the 97 year old), she replied, “It would be better if you lived here”. It made me feel loved as I hadn’t thought she really understood who I was, why I was there or where I even lived; that moment changed all that and was a twinkle of memory from heaven.

As I have said before, it was great to see you and you are welcome to tack on a visit any time!!!
I am so glad that you were able to see both grandmothers on this trip. Grandma L did a similar thing the last time I saw her. After asking me who I was, and me promptly replying that I was Krissy, she said “You are the youngest.” Certain things she stores and can recall – it too made me feel special!
